More proof on my theori, that, the spoken word within politics, is most often far from the truth. The word is clearly used to achieve some form of understanding between the parts. And to create a sense of satisfactory between the parts.
But, if it’s shows in the end, that it was not any truth in the agreement. How will this be solved?
What part should take the punch of having to pay the missing xxx millions in a school or arena project? Taxpayers? The contractor? The consult setting up the deal?
It’s always easy to say that “we couldn’t predict those changes …. bla bla” … (maybe weather or whatever). And the taxpayers take care of it.
We seem to have a great deal of tolerance when it comes to letting someone else go shopping for Our money?
Or put it the other way;
Who is doing all the shopping for the taxpayers money? Isn’t it like having a rental car? You drive, but you don’t have the feel of thinking carefully about the car since it’s not yours?
As a member of the community I feel a little rejected by the local papers attitude towards the mission of journalism.
It comes of the fact that 9 out of 10 articles are of the most devastating art when it comes to building a “local identity”, with the dignity of pride and joy. Only BAD news. If our youth read this crap? Hey! May some good force be with them, then! But. Thank god, they’re not interested!
The picture of their home community is drawn in the most dull colours.
Childish of the news people to just focus so hard on “scandalism”, just to make an extra buck. It’s like digging in garbage! But Soon they’ll get treated as they deserve; With no respect nor credibility.
When will the ad placers realise what is goodwill and what is not? There’s got to be loads of money to be make?
Some times you get the impression that, a “boring” or in other ways, worthless article, draws more intention to the ad on the side, then a good and engaging article would do. Why is that??
So the stronger the media forces gets, (internet, tv, papers and movies etc) the stronger impact can the broken promise of the spoken/written word have on ALL moral and ethics in society.
It can lead us anywhere, where we least expected! And wanted?
Funny how everyone is urging for creds for this and that! Are they feeling left out?
Papers are now more on the internet then it’s actual papers. But still, the interactivity with the readers, as they have as an option, is still not fully used? I see how some “papers” seem to think it’s……..?……maybe embarrassing to show the the readers comments?
I can only see fear as a reason for not letting the readers “get the full picture” as the comment pages invites to give.
Who wouldn’t want to hear the readers reaction on the subjects?
All these comments could actually full fill the article without any extra cost for the “paper”, but still, it’s not an interesting offer?
Ok. I promise. After this……..There Will be a change.
Advertisers Will understand the strength of GOODWILL. Journalists Will let their lazyness having more people to fill their stories in the commentator fields. (As well as their articles as usual)
AND advertisers WILL see the power in people and let the “GOOD” articles take more space in our mental arena. Or did I wake up just now? Nice dream any how.
Love to you all
